Front End Engineer

Hi! We're looking for an ambitious and hardworking front-end engineer to come onto our startup to help build out the next iteration of our web app.

Responsibilities:

• Code responsive UI components using React and Next.js
• Collaborate closely with design and backend engineering
• Implement efficient data fetching and management using Hasura/GraphQL
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality
• Help identify and fix frontend-related issues

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Proficiency in React for building interactive UI components
• Experience with Next.js as a deployment environment
• Familiarity with Hasura/GraphQL for efficient data communication
• Solid understanding of UX and interaction principles
• Version control using Git/GitHub

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
• Experience with relational databases, e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Open-source contributions or a personal portfolio is a plus

Back End Engineer

Hi! We're looking for an ambitious and senior back-end engineer to come onto our startup to help build out the next iteration of our web app.

Responsibilities:

• Independently plan, implement, and test features in the minware application
• Work closely with product managers and customers to define minware's capabilities
• Design and architect new system components
• Manage a backlog of tech debt reduction and internal efficiency improvements
• (Optional) Conduct interviews and help with hiring other engineers

Qualifications:

• Experience building and maintaining a complex full-stack application
• Familiarity with principles of high-quality code, including continuous integration, declarative and functional programming
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and occasionally with customers
• Well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes
• Experience with the core stack (Postgres, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL, React) or similar technologies is preferred
• Proficiency with infrastructure (AWS, Terraform) and UI (HTML, CSS, Figma) is optional, but nice to have

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and techniques.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
